Working towards a tight budget? Ideal for those who don't want/need full carcasses, our Essentials range is our face frame fitted wardrobe system. Still made to measure for your space and still with the same great warranty and range of doors and décors, you can achieve the built-in wardrobe look for around a 30% lower price than our full carcass wardrobes.
These are also ideal if you already have internals from previous wardrobes and just want to replace and modernise the front.
You can order online after following our measuring guide and we'll check things over then build and deliver your new fitted wardrobes, flat packed and ready for self-installation, in just 3-4 weeks on average.

What are Face Frame Fitted Wardrobes?
Put simply, it's a wardrobe that has no internal carcass, with no solid backs, sides, tops or base. Our face frame fitted wardrobes are a made to measure frame system made from 18mm MFC that the doors hang on, with some side scribe panels on each side, then plinths on the top and bottom to give the full fitted wardrobe look.
The internal options include hanging rails, shelving and drawers, with combinations of all three in various sizes. Any shelving and drawer systems still benefit from our fantastic quality 18mm MFC, but in a fixed colour. These units have no backs to keep costs low.
How easy are they to build?
If you've got some basic DIY skills then very easy indeed! A face frame fitted wardrobe should take half a day to a day to fit depending on size and choice of internal options. Everything arrives flat-packed, you simply fix the frame to the wall, hang the doors, drill holes for your handles (unless you choose our handleless doors) and then build the internals.
You may need to trim some of the pieces with a circular saw and use decorator's caulk to finish the panels against the wall for a nice fitted finish. You'll need a tape measure, screwdriver, drill, circular saw / jigsaw and a cup of tea/coffee. That's it!
